About Dorfmarke
Dorfmarke is Marcus Dindorf's electronic music project from Frankfurt am Main, focused on deep, reduced and hypnotic underground club music between Deep Tech House, Deep Minimal, Microhouse, Tech House, Electronica and leftfield-oriented club music.
The project is built around hypnotic grooves, warm deep basslines, subtle synth motifs and atmospheric texture, with attention to groove, timing, sound design and long-form development.
Marcus Dindorf started public deejaying as "Sucker DJ" at the age of 16 and later moved from hip-hop and funk influences into electronic club music, keeping a sense of rhythm and warmth while exploring reduced, deep and progressive sounds.
Dorfmarke emerged in 2009 as an underground electronic music project for productions and remixes shaped by studio practice, intimate dancefloors and late headphone sessions.
Marcus Dindorf is also the founder and label head of dPole Records, so Dorfmarke sits close to the label's identity while remaining his own artist project.
Within dPole Records, Dorfmarke appears as a core artist across Alone In The Dark, Deep Fat Phased and Escapando, and through remix work for Alex Par, Chris Simon and Steve Murrell.
